Services

Mobile app development, end to end

Six services that cover the whole life of a mobile product — from the first workshop to the release that follows your thousandth user. Take all of them, or just the one you're missing.

Service 01

iOS App Development

Native iPhone and iPad apps in Swift and SwiftUI, built to Apple's conventions rather than fighting them.

Apple users notice when an app doesn't behave like an Apple app — wrong gestures, wrong transitions, a share sheet that isn't the share sheet. We build to the Human Interface Guidelines because it's what makes an app feel trustworthy, and because it's what gets you through review without a rejection.

  • Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit where it still wins

  • Widgets, App Clips, Live Activities and watchOS companions

  • HealthKit, ARKit, Core ML, StoreKit 2 and Sign in with Apple

  • VoiceOver and Dynamic Type support audited before release

10–16 weeks · from $6,000

What you get

  • Signed release build in your own App Store Connect account

  • Full source with unit and UI test coverage on core flows

  • CI pipeline pushing to TestFlight on every merge

  • Architecture document your future hires can read

  • 90 days of post-launch support

Service 02

Android App Development

Kotlin and Jetpack Compose apps built for the Android that exists, not the one in the emulator.

Android is thousands of screen sizes, a decade of OS versions and a wide spread of hardware. An app that feels fast on a current flagship can be unusable on a three-year-old mid-range phone — which is exactly where a large share of your users are. We build and profile against that reality from the start.

  • Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and Material 3

  • Offline-first data layers with retry and conflict handling

  • Background work through WorkManager with real constraints

  • Play data-safety forms prepared with the build, not after a rejection

10–16 weeks · from $5,500

Where Android projects usually go wrong

  • Testing only on flagships. We keep a device lab of mid-range hardware, because that's what most of your users own.

  • Assuming a good connection. Offline-first data layers and retry logic are the default, not an upgrade.

  • Ignoring battery. Background work goes through WorkManager with constraints, so you don't end up on a vendor's kill list.

  • Skipping Play policy. Data-safety forms and permission declarations are prepared with the build.

Service 03

Flutter Cross-Platform Development

One codebase, both stores, roughly 60% of the cost of building twice.

When it fits, Flutter is the fastest route to market we have. When it doesn't, we'll say so in discovery rather than after you've paid for it — heavy camera or sensor pipelines, ARKit/ARCore and complex platform widgets are all better served natively.

  • Clean architecture with Riverpod or Bloc

  • A shared component library across both platforms

  • Golden tests so UI regressions get caught in CI

  • Platform channels wherever native access beats a package

8–14 weeks · from $4,500

The trade-off, plainly

  • ~40% lower cost than two native builds

  • 8–14 weeks typical MVP timeline, both platforms

  • Right call when your app is screens, forms, lists and API calls

  • Wrong call for heavy sensors, AR, or binary-size-critical apps

Service 04

UI/UX & Product Design

Research, flows and a design system that engineers can build from without a translation layer.

Most of the money wasted on app projects is spent building the wrong thing beautifully. We front-load the cheap part: interviews, journey maps, a clickable prototype, and usability sessions with real people from your audience. Changes at prototype stage cost hours. The same changes after launch cost weeks.

  • Stakeholder and user interviews, competitor teardown

  • Information architecture, user flows and wireframes

  • High-fidelity UI plus a tokenised design system in Figma

  • WCAG 2.2 AA contrast, touch targets and screen-reader labelling

  • Moderated usability testing with 5–8 target users

Design sprint: 3–5 weeks · from $2,500

Deliverables

  • Clickable prototype tested before engineering starts

  • Design system with tokens, components and states

  • Accessibility audit against WCAG 2.2 AA

  • Research findings written up, not just felt

Service 05

Backend, APIs & cloud infrastructure

The half of your app users never see — and the half that decides whether it survives its first busy weekend.

Auth & identity

Email, social, passkeys and biometric unlock. Session handling and token refresh that survive real-world network conditions.

Payments & subscriptions

Stripe, StoreKit 2 and Play Billing with server-side receipt validation, so entitlements can't be spoofed from the client.

Realtime & sync

WebSocket channels, conflict resolution and offline-first sync — so the app keeps working in a lift and reconciles cleanly on the way out.

Push & messaging

APNs and FCM with segmentation, scheduling and deep links that open the right screen instead of the home tab.

Cloud & DevOps

AWS or GCP defined in Terraform, containerised services, staged environments and cost alarms before the bill surprises you.

Security & compliance

Encryption at rest and in transit, audit logging, and delivery aligned to GDPR, HIPAA or SOC 2 where your sector requires it.

Service 06

Launch, ASO & ongoing growth

Shipping to the store is a milestone, not the finish line.

An app that nobody finds, or that quietly crashes for 4% of users, is a failed project no matter how good the build was. We treat launch and the months after it as part of the engagement: instrument what matters, watch the numbers, and turn them into the next release.

  • Keyword research, store listing copy and screenshot design

  • Staged rollouts with automatic halt on crash-rate regression

  • Analytics instrumentation and funnel dashboards you can read

  • A/B testing on onboarding, paywalls and activation flows

  • Monthly release cadence with crash triage and OS-update readiness

Growth retainer: from $900 / month

Engagement models

Pick the one that matches where you are.

  1. 01

    Fixed-scope project

Defined spec, fixed price, fixed date. Best when you know what you need and want budget certainty.

  2. 02

    Dedicated team

Two to six people embedded with you on a monthly rate. Best for evolving roadmaps and longer builds.

  3. 03

    Support retainer

A fixed block of hours each month for maintenance, releases and small features. Best after launch.

Investment

Transparent starting points

Real ranges, not "contact us for pricing". Your fixed quote comes out of the discovery workshop, and it doesn't move unless you change the scope.

Validate

A focused first version to put in front of real users and investors.

$3k–$8k

6–12 weeks · one platform

  • Discovery workshop & spec
