Privacy Policy
Last updated 9 August 2026. This policy explains what personal data Appix Engine collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Note for the site owner: this is a working template written to match how the site actually behaves. Have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction, and update the company details, retention periods and processor list before you publish.
1. Who we are
Appix Engine (“we”, “us”) is a mobile app development agency based in Bangladesh, at Holding No: 213, Moshakhali, Panighata - 7632, Mohammadpur, Magura. For any privacy question, write to appixengine@yahoo.com. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
2. What we collect
Information you send us. When you complete the enquiry form or email us: your name, email address, company, phone number if given, and whatever you write in your message.
Server logs. Our host records IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp for every request, as part of normal operation and abuse prevention.
No advertising trackers. This site sets no marketing or profiling cookies.
3. Why we use it, and on what basis
We use enquiry details solely to respond to you and, if we go on to work together, to administer that engagement. The legal basis is your consent (which you give with the checkbox on the form) and, once a project starts, performance of a contract. Server logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of processors to run the business — Netlify, which hosts this site and receives enquiry-form submissions on our behalf, an email provider, and a project-management tool — each bound by a data-processing agreement. If you are in the EEA or UK, note that these providers may process data outside your country under an appropriate transfer mechanism.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after 24 months. Records relating to signed engagements are kept for seven years to meet tax and contractual obligations. Server logs are rotated after 90 days.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or export it — and you can withdraw consent at any time. Under the CCPA, California residents also have the right to know what we collect and to opt out of any “sale” of personal information (we do not sell any). 7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is limited to staff who need it, protected by single sign-on and multi-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
8. Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
