Before you write
Questions we get at this stage
I only have an idea, not a spec. Is that too early?
That's the normal starting point, and honestly the best one — it means nothing has been over-specified yet. Send a paragraph about the problem and who has it. The discovery workshop exists to turn that into a spec.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes, before any technical discussion. Send us yours, or ask for our standard mutual NDA and we'll have it over the same day.
How quickly can you start?
Discovery workshops can usually be scheduled within two weeks. Full build slots typically open four to six weeks out, and we'll always tell you the real date rather than holding you with an optimistic one.
Do you take equity instead of fees?
Occasionally, as a partial arrangement for projects we believe in, but never as the whole fee. If that's what you're exploring, say so in your message and we'll tell you straight away whether it's a conversation worth having.
Can you take over an app another team built?
Often, yes — roughly a fifth of our work is rescue projects. We start with a paid code audit (usually one to two weeks) so we can tell you honestly whether the right move is to continue the existing codebase or rebuild it.
